Product Overview
The Knob - Midsize Soft Touch 6.35 Shaft Teal Green Snap On is a knob that comes as a part of the display unit along with an LCD and touch screen in an anesthesia delivery machine. It is a two shot soft touch knob, used as an encoder. It is provided at the bottom of the LCD touch bezel assembly and it is fixed to the shaft. The angular movement of the knob is transferred to the shaft. An encoder converts this into electrical signals that are displayed on the screen. The 1st shot or inner shot is made of the polymer polypropylene filled with 10% talc as reinforcing material improving the stiffness and strength. The second shot or external shot is made of a thermoplastic polymer. It adheres to polypropylene and gives a soft touch to the knob. The smooth and soft knob gives a comfortable feel with a good grip. It provides good hardness and resists any external damage. It provides advanced tuning and is highly sensitive and provide a wide range of inputs according to user needs.
