Product Overview
A tocodynamometer, or toco for short, is a transducer pressure sensing device that can detect the changes in the abdomen as the uterus tightens during a contraction.The toco is essentially a weight with centrally placed pressure sensitive surface secured to the abdominal wall with a strap.The toco is positioned near the fundus and adjusted to a position that results in the best contraction recording.The weight is made up of teflon (PTFE-Polytetrafluoroethylene) known for its high electrical resistance,temperature resistant,dielectric strength and resistance to water.This teflon weight which is used for calibration, weighs 52.5 gram especially designed for testing Nautilus Tocotransducers.This device is compatible with Corometrics 250,Corometrics 170,Corometrics 171,Corometrics 128, and Corometrics 129 fetal monitoring systems for comfortable and relaible monitoring.
